Things in the thriving country of Wood-Squared are clicking along quite nicely. I've moved on to the last Percy Jackson book (The Last Olympian) and I'm still working on Adopted for Life. I As of today I have finished Romans, and I suppose I'll move on to 1 Corinthians, though I'm contemplating reading Galatians. I know, I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seat waiting to know what I'll read next!! :)
Little Stinker is growing, growing, growing. Three of his teeth have broken through, and I think three more are on their way! His current interests are anything that Momma or Daddy is holding... Pens, utensils, BIBLES, books, safety pins, if we're holding it, he wants it! He can get up on his hands and knees and "bounce," but can't quite get himself moving forward yet (thank goodness). I think that means we've got to start baby-proofing the house. Wooo hooo!
Timothy is doing well, of course! His job is great and we are so thankful to the Lord for that. He is good at what he does, and it seems like the Lord taylor-made this job for him.
There are lots of things rattling around in my head to write about. We are looking toward where the Lord is leading us as a family. We've always wanted to adopt, so we are looking at what changes we have to make in our life to get that accomplished We're praying for the children that God would have for us, whether they share our DNA or not. Little Man just loooooves the other kids at church, so we think he'd like some siblings, sooner or later.
Other than that, we are sooo thankful for our happy little life. We may not be famous, we may not be rich, but we are SO RICH with blessings. We have friends who are as close as family, a sweet marriage, an adorable kid, and the merciful love and GRACE from the Father through the Son who sacrificed for us. Lord, let us live in humble submission to You!!
